Wintermelon tea is a prissy imbibe to cool downward a bit
There's this Malaysian build of drinks called Yeo's together with to me, they build the best asian beverages (in packaged form, of course)
And they produce convey Wintermelon Tea equally well... rather pricey.. About RM4 (depends on where u buy) for one-half a dozen of 250ml packs.
Well, I decided to endeavor together with build mine... all for less than RM8 for 4L of Wintermelon tea or more.
To build a less sweetness version, simply launder (or fifty-fifty soak inward mutual depression temperature water) the dried wintermelon pieces to piece of job rid around of the sugar.. if u prefer sweeter, simply piece of job out them equally they are. Don't cutting on on the wintermelon if u desire it less sweet, that way, u'll cutting on the odour too...
Ingredients:
3 cups dried wintermelon pieces (washed together with sliced thinly to loose flavour)
1/2 loving cup dried longan
5 L H2O (the dired wintermelon volition soak upwards a lot, together with you'll hold out left amongst close 4L
Method:
Bring H2O to a boil together with seat inward dried longan together with wintermelon slices. Simmer for i hour.
Strain the drinkable together with piece of job out to cool earlier chilling inward the fridge.
