Ok,ok, hither it is...
I made this in conclusion September for my niece.
Her dad told me, Joanna wants an Angry Bird cake. So I called up, hoping she'll bring other options for me. But she said,
"Ku cheh (姑姐), I want a ruddy angry plane cake, the whole cake red".
Smack my head. Red, that's a nightmare. Making that actually ruddy plane needs a lot of ruddy and I create hateful a heck lot.
Making the frosting freaked the hell out of me. I used 1 whole tub of Wilton No-Taste-Red.
I'm non someone who is comfortable alongside soooooooooo much nutrient colouring. Some is fine, only 1 tub seems tooooo much. And expect at my table... such a mess. LOL.
The cake is a Japanese Strawberry Shortcake. I made the sponge cake, modified from Reese's Cutie Strawberry Rolls.

And if you lot tin grade the sack notice... there's something incorrect alongside the comb. haha. I don't play Angry Bird, thus can't actually recollect how it looks like. By the fourth dimension I had to create the comb thingy, my laptop went dead (I brought the laptop into the kitchen, checking on the moving-picture demonstrate all the fourth dimension to create the cake). And when I finally got it on again, hahaa, I constitute that my comb was wrongly done. But then, I can't bother to scrape the comb too create it again. Dead tired, mentally.
My niece was ecstatic when she saw the cake, grin from ear to ear.... And I warned everybody nigh the amount of ruddy dye inwards the frosting. To eat or scrape, it's upwards to them. But it's Italian Meringue Buttercream, darn good. Yummy. Wasted only no pick if 1 does non desire to eat sooooo much ruddy dye.
