Liat way elastic. Is this kuih that elastic? Haha, it didn’t intermission my teeth.
It’s genuinely quite soft, piece it’s warm. Firmer when colder. I similar it theatre as well as chewy. Almost similar dodol. Delicious! If you lot convey no persuasion near dodol, it’s almost similar niangao 年糕. Get it? Except the kokosnoot is already inward the niangao. Sweet, sticky, chewy as well as coconutty.

Makes: half dozen pcs

125gm water
70gm night brownish saccharide (jaggery or gula merah)
one pc pandan leaf
120 gm sticky rice flour
40gm grated kokosnoot flesh + pinch of salt
half dozen pcs of 5X7” banana leaf

1. Place pandan leaf, saccharide as well as H2O into a modest saucepan. Bring to a boil as well as permit it cool down.
2. Meanwhile wilt banana foliage (blanch, steam or over opened upwards flame, equally you lot wish)
3. Mix the cooled syrup alongside the rice flour as well as stir.
4. Lightly grease a slice of banana leaf.
5. Place one heaped Tbsp of rice batter onto greased foliage as well as spread it around.
6. Place closed to kokosnoot into the center.
